Review of the Full Court Kit Pickleball Bag
As a passionate pickleball player constantly on the lookout for the best gear, I recently upgraded to the Full Court Kit: TOTE + COOLER + COVER + MESH + STRAPS. My previous bag was a bit too small, often leaving me to juggle multiple items as I headed to the court. I needed something functional, stylish, and roomy enough to handle my growing collection of paddles and gear.
This bag completely fits the bill. Its dimensions (14.3" × 5.3" × 12.5") offer a generous amount of space, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could easily fit not just my paddles and gear—up to four paddles in the dedicated paddle pouch—but also my water bottle, a change of clothes, and even a small cooler bag for drinks. One of my favorite features is the snap-in wet/dry pocket, which keeps my sweaty towel neatly tucked away without making everything else damp.
Pros:
- Roomy Design: Just like Dorothy Berry said, it is "very roomy." I found that the bag can accommodate everything I need for a day at the court, plus extra items if I want to throw in a few snacks.
- Quality Construction: The craftsmanship is impressive—thick, padded, and made from durable nylon that can handle the elements. I personally love the breathable mesh pockets that help organize my essentials.
Cons:
- Weight: Although the bag is well-constructed, Hobie mentioned that it felt heavier than he expected. I agree; when fully packed, it can be a bit weighty. That said, the padded adjustable straps make it very comfortable to carry.
- Small Clips: One of the drawbacks noted by Leigh A Whittier is the small carabiner clips for hanging; they were inconvenient enough that I had to improvise and use my larger clip for easier access. I think having a single larger clip would enhance the user experience.
I can’t overlook the eye-catching design either. The classic black with white accents adds a stylish touch, making the bag look as good as it functions. I often get compliments from fellow players who’ve admired not just its practicality but also its aesthetic.
The adjustable straps are another highlight. I appreciated how easy it was to switch between carrying the bag over one shoulder or crossbody depending on my mood or load. This versatility is particularly welcome when you’re trying to balance a coffee in one hand while heading to morning matchups.
The cooler bag is a thoughtful inclusion, too. It’s spacious enough to hold a couple of drinks and some snacks, which is invaluable after a game. My favorited feature though, is the back sleeve that holds my tablet; post-match recaps have never been easier!
Regarding the overall experience, I must say the Full Court Kit did meet my expectations and even exceeded them in many respects. It’s clear that the makers put a lot of thought into the design—crafting a bag that is not only functional but also caters to the needs of pickleball players, as noted by other users.
In conclusion, if you’re searching for a stylish and highly functional pickleball bag, the Full Court Kit is definitely worth considering. While it does have a couple of minor quirks, the overall package provides excellent organization, quality, and comfort. It has easily earned a place in my gear lineup, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to up their game. Whether you’re new to pickleball or a seasoned player, this bag has something for everyone, making it a fantastic investment for your pickleball adventures.
